Twin Peaks coming to Huntsville

Founded in 2005 in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, Twin Peaks now has 83 locations in 26 states.

Twin Peaks could have a location open in Huntsville as early as December.

A company spokeswoman said today the restaurant chain anticipates opening by January 2019 at the latest.

The restaurant will be located at 5901 University Drive. Though it will be next to the MidCity development, it is not part of the $500 million redevelopment currently under construction on the 140-acre site of the former Madison Square Mall, according to MidCity developer RCP.

The Huntsville location will be the third for Twin Peaks in Alabama, which already has restaurants in Hoover and Montgomery.

The Dallas-based, sports-themed restaurant chain is known for its burgers, beers TVs and the Twin Peaks Girls. The restaurants are billed as "the ultimate sports lodge, known for its rugged man-cave atmosphere." It has 83 locations in 26 states.
